Urban environment... Focusing on Joel Meyerowitz
Urban area photography is the most well recognized genre of photography and has been around forever. Whether it’s taking a photo of New York City at night, or overlooking Brooklyn Bridge urban area photography is very popular. Black and white street photographer seems to be the popular theme for taking photos of an urban environment.
The photographer that I’m focusing on for urban environment is Joel Meyerowitz. He has been a leading figure in street photography for a very long time now, and he has written many books showing his photography including a book that showed pictures of 9/11 after the attack. He started photography in the 1970 and since been going from black and white to colour.
